Katie focuses on federal energy regulatory matters related to the development, ownership and operation of electric generation and transmission facilities. She assists clients with obtaining and maintaining permits and authorizations from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including under Sections 203, 204, and 205 of the Federal Power Act, the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 2005, and the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978.

Before joining Rock Creek Energy Group, Katie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William E. Smith in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island and to the Honorable Robert F. Castañeda in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Katie also interned for the Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division.

In her free time, Katie enjoys hiking and traveling.
