Cara works closely with the attorneys and other professionals of Rock Creek Energy Group on regulatory compliance and transactional matters involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). She has extensive knowledge of FERC’s requirements for an electric generation facility to obtain and maintain qualifying facility (QF) status and related regulatory exemptions. She also assists with the preparation of filings related to market-based rate authority, exempt wholesale generator status, and dispositions of FERC-jurisdictional assets.

In her free time, Cara enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
